Job summary

CFS is seeking a Financial Analyst to join its Finance & FP&A team, focusing on budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and business performance analysis with direct exposure to senior leadership.

You will own reporting packages, build complex Excel-based models, and collaborate across departments to drive improvements in financial visibility and processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
• Approximately 1-5 years of financial analysis, FP&A, banking, corporate finance, or related experience.
• Strong Excel and financial modeling skills are required.
• Experience with budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and variance analysis.
• Exposure to cash flow forecasting, lending relationships, covenant reporting, or banking environments is highly valued.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate across departments.
• Self-starter mentality with a willingness to bring ideas forward and drive improvements.
• Experience with ERP systems such as NetSuite, Salesforce, Power BI, or similar platforms is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Analyze gross margin performance, project profitability, and actual versus forecast results.
• Develop and enhance complex Excel-based financial models used for executive reporting and decision-making.
• Assist with 13-week cash flow forecasting, covenant reporting, and key financial metrics.
• Partner with operations, sales, and finance teams to provide actionable business insights.
• Identify opportunities to improve reporting processes, automation, and overall financial visibility.
• Utilize advanced Excel functions, including pivot tables, SUMIFS, lookups, and potentially macros to streamline reporting.
