Job summary

Piedmont Technical College is seeking a Financial Aid Office leader to oversee daily operations, ensure regulatory compliance, and supervise counselors. The role focuses on streamlining processing, reporting, and policy implementation to promote accuracy and accountability.

The incumbent will assist the Director of Financial Aid, oversee staff training, and serve as the Director’s designee in their absence, contributing to continuous improvement initiatives across financial aid operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and related financial aid experience.
• Experience supervising financial aid staff and managing workflows.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership, supervision, and oversight of the Financial Aid Office to ensure compliance with regulations.
• Supervise financial aid counselors, manage daily workflows, staff training, productivity and student service delivery.
• Coordinate financial aid processing and monitor operational reports.
• Support policy/procedure implementation to promote accuracy, efficiency, and accountability.
• Assist the Director of Financial Aid with compliance, reporting, and continuous improvement initiatives; serve as designee in the Director's absence.
