Job summary

Northcentral Technical College is seeking a Supervisor of Financial Aid to provide operational leadership for the daily administration of financial aid programs across the district. You will supervise staff, oversee procedures, and coordinate outreach to enhance the student experience.

Under the Director of Financial Aid, you will interpret regulations, manage system updates, and ensure compliance. This role emphasizes accurate, student-centered service and collaboration across departments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree required in Business Administration, Finance, Educational Administration, or related field.
• Minimum of two years of experience in a financial-related position; financial aid administration preferred.
• At least one year of supervisory or lead experience in student services, financial aid, or a related setting.
• Strong analytical and technical skills with accounting/financial systems proficiency.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day administration of financial aid processes ensuring compliance with federal, state, and institutional regulations.
• Interpret and implement regulatory changes and system updates.
• Manage annual setup and testing of financial aid systems and staff communication.
• Supervise and evaluate financial aid staff; support performance and development.
• Collaborate with Student Services and Enrollment teams to ensure accurate, timely information.
