Job summary

Unitek Learning is seeking a Financial Aid Administrator to guide current, prospective, and alumni students through the financial aid process. You will administer, determine eligibility, and process financial aid while maintaining positive cash flow and collaborating with the Director of Financial Aid.

You will verify documentation, disburse aid, counsel families, and stay updated on federal regulations. This role involves audits, reporting, and coordinating with other departments for student

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree preferred.
• 2+ years of Financial Aid experience preferred.
• Campus Vue experience preferred.
• Computer knowledge including Word, Excel and Outlook.
• Excellent customer service and organizational skills.
• Attention to detail with the capability to multi-task.

Responsibilities

• Processing Verification and Disbursements.
• Awards state and federal aid to eligible students according to regulations and policy.
• Counsels students and parents.
• Provides estimates and packaging information.
• Default Management and Financial Literacy programs.
• Auditing.
• Running reports to ensure work integrity.
• Interacting with other departments to assist students.
• Maintaining up to date information on new federal regulations.
• Assisting with Private Loans.
• Packaging VA benefits.
• Other duties as assigned.
