Job summary

Unitek Learning seeks an experienced Financial Aid Administrator to guide current, prospective and alumni students through the financial aid process. You will report to the Director of Financial Aid and administer, determine eligibility, and process financial aid to maintain positive cash flow.

You will handle verification, disbursements, packaging, counseling, and regulatory updates while collaborating with other departments to support students’ needs and ensure program compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• 2+ years of Financial Aid experience preferred; CampusVue experience preferred.
• Computer knowledge including Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
• Excellent customer service and organizational skills.
• Attention to detail with the capability to multi-task.

Responsibilities

• Processing verification and disbursements.
• Awards state and federal aid to eligible students according to regulations and policy.
• Counsels students and parents.
• Provides estimates and packaging information.
• Default management and financial literacy programs.
• Auditing.
• Running reports to ensure work integrity.
• Interacting with other departments to assist students.
• Maintaining up-to-date information on new federal regulations.
• Assisting with private loans.
• Other duties as assigned.
