• One year of financial aid, or one year related experience in higher education, or one year experience in customer service.

Responsibilities

• Meet with students and parents to counsel them on financial aid processes, aid eligibility, costs and financial planning.
• Provide day-to-day customer service support via phone, front counter, email, social media and face-to-face advising.
• Calculate and certify aid, and process fall/spring/summer awarding.
• Screen Professional Judgment (PJ) paperwork and prepare files for PJ committee discussions.
