Job summary

Lincoln Tech is seeking an experienced Financial Aid Advisor- Advanced Packaging in Parsippany-Troy Hills, NJ. The role focuses on re-entry and transfer financial aid, coordinating documentation, and conducting appointments with students and families.

Responsibilities include processing financial aid, updating records, advising on eligibility, and assisting with balance resolution. Benefits include Life/Disability Insurance, 401(k) match, and paid time off.

Qualifications

• Associates degree or equivalent education/experience.
• Minimum 3 years experience with Title IV programs.
• Extensive knowledge of Title IV programs.
• Knowledge of Lincoln programs and packaging requirements.

Responsibilities

• Package and collect documentation to complete the financial aid process for re-entering students.
• Package and collect documentation to complete the financial aid process for transferring programs within the school.
• Conduct telephone appointments with students and families and provide assistance with the financial aid process.
• Complete all necessary financial documents and updating notes in the FA operating system.
• Provide students with information regarding eligibility for state and/or federal assistance or alternative financing.
• Assist students and families with determining options for balance resolution.
• Answer questions regarding Financial Aid professionally, accurately and in a positive manner.
