Job summary

San Jose/Evergreen Community College District’s Evergreen Valley College seeks a Financial Aid Outreach Specialist to promote financial aid programs to students, parents, staff and the public. The 12-month, 40-hour work week runs Monday–Friday, 8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m., and the role is grant funded contingent on yearly funding.

Reporting to the Director of Financial Aid, you will deliver outreach sessions, maintain records, assist with eligibility determinations, and coordinate workshops to improve

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent plus college coursework.
• Four years of increasingly responsible experience in outreach and financial aid.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement financial aid outreach policies and strategies.
• Present financial aid information to students and the public.
• Coordinate outreach materials and events to raise awareness.
• Collaborate with college departments on outreach efforts.
• Review applications and determine eligibility for various programs.
