Job summary

State Employees' Credit Union is seeking a Financial Advisory Services (FAS) Representative to support the delivery of FAS within the district by servicing existing member relationships and introducing members to FAS products and services.

This role enhances efficiency by managing activities that do not require investment licensing, allowing financial advisors to focus on client relationships, prospecting, and cross-selling opportunities.

Qualifications

• High School Degree or GED required.
• Hold a current life insurance license or willingness to obtain.
• Demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency in all Microsoft Office applications.
• Aptitude for meeting people and earning member trust.
• Ability to adapt to daily changes and manage multiple tasks.
• Discretion with member information and confidentiality required.

Responsibilities

• Supports Activities for the Financial Advisor Team by coordinating with Advisors and handling referrals.
• Promotes FAS products to members and assists in account-related tasks that do not require licensing.
• Prepares documents for new accounts and servicing, and facilitates follow-up meetings with clients.
