Job summary

State Employees' Credit Union (SECU) is seeking a Financial Advisory Services Representative to support the Financial Advisor Team by handling non-licensed tasks and coordinating client engagement. You will promote FAS solutions, process administrative duties, and help connect members with licensed staff.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma, a life insurance license or willingness to obtain one, and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

High School Degree or GED.
Hold a current life insurance license or willingness to obtain.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft office applications.
Ability to speak English fluently.
Regional travel required.
Must possess vehicle and valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

Supports activities for the Financial Advisor Team and coordinates with Advisors to meet client needs.
Explore and promote cross-selling opportunities across business lines.
Assist licensed Investment Representatives with annual reviews, account maintenance, and other non-licensing tasks.
Serve as liaison between Financial Advisor network and back-office for efficient communication.
Assist Trust Representatives with estate planning calendars and follow-ups.
Develop proficiency in SECU systems, life insurance software, NetX 360, Envestnet, and new tools.
Communicate results and activities with the FAS District Manager.
