Job summary

Raymond James Financial, Inc. offers the Advisor Mastery Program (AMP) to train the next generation of Financial Advisors through distance learning, apprenticeship, and mentorship at the firm’s headquarters.

The Financial Advisor Trainee will learn to balance new client development, sales, and investment management while delivering sound financial advice tailored to each client’s objectives and risk tolerance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required with sales or business achievement
• Licenses (SIE, Series 7, Series 66) within prescribed timeframes or able to obtain
• General experience in sales (preferably intangible) or related field
• Travel less than 25% as part of role

Responsibilities

• Learn to perform Financial Advisor responsibilities with mentorship
• Meet production targets and build a client book aligned with AMP goals
• Provide high level client service and manage full client relationships
• Identify client needs and propose investment solutions
• Develop pipeline through networking and community engagement
