Job summary

Raymond James Financial Advisors offers the Advisor Mastery Program (AMP), a distance-learning apprenticeship to prepare the next generation of Financial Advisors. The program combines technical and sales training to position new Advisors for success.

As a Financial Advisor Trainee, you will balance new client development, investment management, client service and compliance under supervision, with mentorship from a Branch Manager and a team of Advisors.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree and a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in sales or business environment, or equivalent
• SIE license required; Series 7 and 66 or ability to obtain within 4 months
• Life, Health and Variable Annuity licenses or ability to obtain within 6 months

Responsibilities

• Meet production targets influencing company revenue
• Develop a book of business aligned with AMP goals for assets under management
• Provide high level client service and manage full client relationships
• Identify client needs and recommend suitable investment products and services
• Build a client pipeline through networking and community involvement
• Maintain accurate client records and monitor portfolios
