Raymond James offers the Advisor Mastery Program (AMP), a distance-learning and in-branch education track designed to prepare the next generation of Financial Advisors. Trainees learn to build and manage a practice with support from mentors, managers, and a team of Advisors.

The program combines technical training, sales skills, and compliance with a path toward independent client service and long-term career development in financial planning.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and 3+ years of relevant sales experience or equivalent combination of education and training.

Responsibilities

• Develop a book of business aligned with AMP goals.
• Balance new client development, sales activities, investment management, customer service and compliance.
• Provide clients with sound financial advice aligned with objectives and risk tolerance.
