Job summary

Capital Advantage is looking for an experienced Financial Advisor to manage an established book of approximately 150 client relationships. Your main responsibilities will include providing comprehensive financial planning and investment advice tailored to each client's needs.

You will be part of a collaborative advisory team, reporting directly to a Senior Financial Advisor while being committed to exceptional client service and relationship management.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of five years of experience as a Financial Advisor.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage a large book of client relationships.
  • Strong knowledge of financial planning and investment management.

About the Role

Capital Advantage is seeking an experienced Financial Advisor to manage an established book of approximately 150 client relationships while providing comprehensive financial planning and investment advice.

In this role, you'll help clients navigate important financial decisions, deliver customized planning strategies, and contribute to the continued growth of the firm. You'll report directly to a Senior Financial Advisor while working alongside an experienced, collaborative advisory team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and service an established book of approximately 150 client relationships.
  • Provides financial planning services by advising clients on the advantages and disadvantages of different decisions in alignment with their individual needs.
  • Prepare recommendations for customized financial solutions to current and prospective clients either individually or under the supervision of a Senior Financial Advisor.
  • Meet with clients as needed to review their financial situation and investment portfolio.
  • Increase assets under management by deepening relationships with existing clients through tailored investment solutions while proactively expanding a book of business through strategic prospecting, referrals, networking, and partnership development.
  • Understand and adhere to our firm‘s risk and regulatory standards, policies, and controls.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, business, economics, accounting (or related) field preferred.
  • Minimum of five (5) years of experience as a Financial Advisor.
  • FINRA Series 65 license required.
  • Demonstrated ability to successfully manage an established large book of client relationships.
  • Strong knowledge of financial planning, investment management, retirement planning, estate planning concepts, and risk management.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and relationship management skills.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Commitment to providing exceptional client service and acting in clients' best interests.
