The College of Arts and Sciences is the largest academic unit at Indiana University Bloomington, comprising over 40 departments, 50 centers, programs, and institutes, including the Eskenazi School of Art, Architecture and Design, the Hamilton Lugar School of Global and International Studies, and The Media School. Faculty teach over 50% of the university's credit hours across more than 80 buildings on the Bloomington campus.
Molecular and Cellular Biochemistry is a vibrant academic science department offering undergraduate and graduate programs. Located in Simon Hall, a multidisciplinary science building, the department fosters interdisciplinary research among biology, chemistry, medical sciences, and physics.
In collaboration with the College Finance Office and MCB Department Manager, the MCB Financial Administration Coordinator performs moderately complex financial and administrative duties to support the department's daily operations, ensuring compliance with university policies and applicable regulations.
Combination of education and experience may be considered. Education beyond the minimum can substitute for experience, and vice versa.
Requires effective communication, operation of standard office equipment, sedentary work, and mobility around campus. Must perform essential functions with or without accommodations.
Bloomington, Indiana. Post-training, eligible for hybrid work schedule (1 remote day during the academic year, 2 during breaks), subject to change.
$19.23 to $20.19 per hour.
