Job summary

Heidi Health Corp. in the Philippines is seeking a Financial Accountant to keep our financial operations accurate and timely.

You’ll handle day‑to‑day accounting, month‑end close, and key compliance activities supporting rapid growth. Reporting to the Senior Financial Accountant in Australia, you’ll drive process improvements, automate where possible, and partner with cross‑functional teams to deliver actionable financial insights for a fast‑paced SaaS environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• CPA qualification.
• 3–5 years of experience in Financial/Corporate Accounting, preferably within a technology or SaaS environment.
• Previous experience in Big 4 and/or in a multinational company.
• Strong understanding of Australian Accounting Standards and/or IFRS
• Advanced Excel proficiency
• Exposure to process improvement, automation, or system implementations is a plus but not required
• Excellent attention to detail, verbal and written communication skills, and stakeholder management.
• Self-starter with the ability to work independently in a remote, fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Support day-to-day financial accounting and month-end processes for timely reporting.
• Prepare and post journals, reconciliations and adjustments across key accounts.
• Assist with monthly management reports and variance analysis to support business decisions.
• Identify inefficiencies, implement automation tools and enhance financial controls and operations using technology and AI where appropriate.
• Engage with non-finance teams to streamline financial processes and provide other financial insights.
• Contribute to building a high-performance finance function that is proactive and value-adding to the overall business.
• Support our third-party accounting and tax providers for compliance and statutory obligations on an ad hoc basis.
