Job summary

Essity AB is seeking an experienced Financial Accountant to reconcile accounts, post journal entries, and maintain the general ledger in accordance with accounting principles. The ideal candidate will reside in the Appleton, WI area and support monthly close, reporting, and audits.

The role requires accounting knowledge, strong Excel skills, and the ability to analyze financial information for senior management decisions.

Qualifications

• Detail-oriented with strong planning and organizational skills.
• Experience in accounting or finance roles is required or preferred.
• Proficient in Excel; SAP or Power BI experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Active role in the monthly financial closing cycle, including reconciling balance sheet accounts and maintaining a complete and accurate general ledger.
• Collect, verify, and analyze financial information and prepare financial reports for senior management.
• Assist with internal and external audits and provide technical accounting input within area of expertise.
