Job summary

Essity is seeking a Financial Accountant to join our North America team in Wisconsin. You will reconcile accounts, post journal entries, and maintain the general ledger in compliance with GAAP and reporting schedules. The ideal candidate has an accounting degree, strong Excel skills, and hands-on experience with SAP or Power BI.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or equivalent preferred.
• Detail-oriented with strong planning and organizational skills.
• Advanced knowledge of Excel and Microsoft Office tools.
• Experience with SAP or Power BI a plus.
• Willingness to travel up to 10% (domestic).

Responsibilities

• Reconcile accounts and post journal entries to maintain a complete and accurate general ledger.
• Collect, verify, and analyze financial information for timely reports to senior management.
• Assist with internal and external audits.
• Provide technical accounting guidance within area of expertise to other teams.
• Oversee and approve specific accounting procedures.
• Suggest improvements to processes and controls.
