Job summary

Essity is seeking a Financial Accountant to reconcile accounts, post journal entries, and maintain the general ledger in line with accounting principles. The role supports monthly close, financial reporting, and internal/external audits in a fast-paced, collaborative environment in the Appleton, WI area.

The ideal candidate will have an accounting degree and strong Excel skills, with SAP/Power BI experience considered a plus. Travel up to 10% may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field preferred.
• Experience in accounting or financial reporting.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Proficient in Excel and financial systems.

Responsibilities

• Own monthly close process including balance sheet reconciliations and journal entries.
• Prepare financial reports and statements for senior management.
• Assist audits and provide accounting guidance to stakeholders.
• Support process improvements and issue resolution within Accounting services.
