Job summary

P.F. Chang’s Global Support Center in Scottsdale, AZ is seeking an experienced Financial Accountant II (CAM) to join our Financial team.

This role focuses on monthly close, reconciliations, CAM/billings, and journal entries to support accurate financial reporting. The ideal candidate will have a BS in Accounting or Finance, 3+ years of accounting experience in high-volume environments, strong Excel, and familiarity with Lease Accounting systems such as Workday or Tango.

Qualifications

• Requires a BS in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 3+ years of progressively responsible accounting or financial operations experience (hospitality/retail experience preferred).
• Strong Excel skills with ability to learn Lease Accounting software.
• Clear written and verbal communication and ability to work with both accounting and non-accounting stakeholders.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities independently in a fast-paced close environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform monthly, quarterly, and annual close activities per close calendar.
• Prepare balance sheet reconciliations and monitor reconciling items through resolution.
• Conduct monthly variance analysis and provide concise explanations for management.
• Prepare CAM, operating expense, real estate tax, insurance, and landlord reconciliations; compare to lease terms.
• Research CAM discrepancies and coordinate with Real Estate, Accounts Payable, and landlords to resolve differences.
• Prepare journal entries and adjustments from CAM reconciliations and maintain related schedules.
• Assist with accounting system upgrades, implementations and SOP documentation.

We are seeking an experienced Financial Accountant II (CAM) to join our Financial team at our Global Support Center in Scottsdale, Arizona.

What You’ll Do:

• Perform assigned monthly, quarterly, and annual close activities in accordance with the established close calendar.
• Prepare timely and accurate balance sheet reconciliations; investigate reconciling items and monitor outstanding items through resolution.
• Perform monthly variance analysis of assigned balance sheet and income statement accounts and prepare concise explanations for management review.
• Prepare and review CAM, operating expense, real estate tax, insurance, and other landlord reconciliations; compare billings to lease terms, prior accruals, and amounts paid.
• Research CAM and lease discrepancies and coordinate with Real Estate, Accounts Payable, and landlords to resolve differences.
• Prepare journal entries and adjustments resulting from CAM reconciliations and maintain supporting schedules for related accruals, settlements, credits, and receivables.
• Assist with accounting system upgrades, implementations and SOP documentation as needed

What You’ll Bring:

• Requires a BS in Accounting, Finance, or a related field and at least 3 years of progressively responsible accounting, or financial operations experience. Restaurant, retail, hospitality, or other high-volume multi-unit experience is strongly preferred.
• Strong Excel skills are required. Workday, Tango or other Lease Accounting software skills are a plus.
• Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced close environment.
• Clear written and verbal communication skills and the ability to work effectively with both accounting and non-accounting stakeholders.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities independently and collaborate effectively as part of the broader Accounting and Finance team.

Location :

This is primarily an office-based position located at the P.F. Chang’s Global Support Center in Scottsdale, Arizona 85255. Candidates must currently reside in the greater Phoenix area and live within a reasonable commuting distance of the office.
