PF Chang's is seeking a Director of Financial Operations to lead key accounting operations and support accurate, timely financial reporting. You will partner with senior finance leaders to strengthen controls, improve processes, and develop a high-performing team.

The role requires a Bachelor's in Accounting, 8+ years of accounting experience (multi-unit/retail/hospitality preferred), 5+ years of leadership, and strong U.S. GAAP knowledge.

• 8+ years of progressive accounting experience; multi-unit, retail, restaurant, or hospitality experience preferred.
• 5+ years leading and developing accounting teams.
• Experience with labor accounting, including bonus and incentive calculations.
• Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and financial reporting.
• Proficiency in fixed asset accounting; ASC 842 lease accounting preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Workday Financials.
• Track record of leading process improvements.
• CPA license strongly preferred.

Responsabilidades

P.F. Chang’s is seeking a Director of Financial Operations to lead key accounting operations and support accurate, timely financial reporting. In this role, you’ll partner with the VP, Controller, Finance leaders, and business partners to strengthen financial controls, improve processes, and develop a high-performing team.

What You’ll Do:

• Lead the Close Process: Oversee accounting activities, reconciliations, analyses, and reporting for monthly, quarterly, and annual closes.
• Guide Accounting Operations: Serve as an escalation point for complex accounting matters and provide direction to the team.
• Improve Processes and Controls: Partner with the Controller to make accounting operations more efficient, accurate, scalable, and well controlled.
• Apply U.S. GAAP: Research, document, and apply accounting guidance to non-routine transactions.
• Oversee Labor Accounting: Support labor-related accounting, including incentive compensation calculations and reconciliations.
• Manage Lease Accounting: Complete lease modifications, renewals, reconciliations, and other activities under ASC 842.
• Develop the Team: Coach team members, support performance management, and help employees build their skills and careers.
• Partner Across the Business: Communicate effectively with colleagues at all levels and represent Accounting with a professional, solutions-focused approach.
• Support Special Projects: Contribute to additional projects and initiatives as business needs arise.

What You’ll Bring:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field.
• 8+ years of progressive accounting experience; multi-unit, retail, restaurant, or hospitality experience is preferred.
• 5+ years of experience leading and developing accounting teams.
• Experience with labor accounting, including bonus and incentive calculations.
• Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and financial reporting.
• Proficiency in fixed asset accounting; experience with lease accounting under ASC 842 is strongly preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Workday Financials.
• A track record of leading process improvements.
• Strong judgment, communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
• CPA license strongly preferred.

Location:

Scottsdale, AZ 85255 - This role is based at our Scottsdale Global Support Center, where Team Members collaborate in person at least three days per week, with additional in-office days as business needs require.
