Job summary

Arbella, a people-first insurer, is seeking a Financial Accountant I/II to join the Accounting group. You will prepare quarterly and annual statutory financial statements in line with GAAP and statutory requirements, draft journal entries, and support balance sheet reconciliations.

You will also assist with the accounting software implementation and audit activities, collaborating with Finance, IT and HR as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and 1–3 years of experience in accounting.
• Strong analytical and communication skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office, advanced Excel skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepares and processes accounting journal entries for routine accounts.
• Reconciles financial balances for balance sheet accounts and resolves discrepancies.
• Assists in preparing quarterly and annual financial statements and cash flow analysis.
• Supports implementation of new accounting software and IT-related accounting tasks.
• Assists internal and external audits and provides requested analyses.
