Job summary

The role requires a Bachelor’s in accounting/finance, 2–5 years of accounting experience, strong Excel skills, and knowledge of Concur and QuickBooks Online, with CPA preferred. Competitive salary and benefits offered.

Job description

Craig-Hallum Capital Group, a Registered Broker Dealer located in the North Loop neighborhood of Minneapolis, is seeking an experienced Financial Accountant to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. The accountant will be responsible for a variety of accounting functions. This position reports directly to the CFO.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and record daily financial transactions.
• Manage both accounts payable and receivable.
• Assist with monthly commission-based payroll.
• Work with HR to maintain and update employee payroll and benefit records.
• Reconcile bank statements and monthly general ledger accounts.
• Assist in preparing accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Assist in preparing quarterly, and year-end, tax workpapers.

Base salary will vary based on the candidates' experience, etc. with the range being $75,000 - $95,000 annually.
