Job summary

GlobalFoundries is seeking a Finance Project Management & Financial Systems Analyst Intern in Austin to support the Finance Transformation organization across project management and financial systems initiatives.

You will collaborate with business stakeholders, Finance teams, and technology partners to improve processes, drive system enhancements, identify automation opportunities, and help deliver transformation projects that improve efficiency, controls, data quality, and user experience.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's in a related field with at least a 3.0 GPA.
• English language fluency, written and verbal.
• Able to work at least 40 hours per week during the internship.

Responsibilities

• Support Finance transformation projects with planning, tracking, documentation, status reporting, and stakeholder communications.
• Analyze processes to identify opportunities for improvement across Finance operations.
• Document business requirements, scope definitions, process maps, use cases, and acceptance criteria.
• Assist in current-state and future-state assessments to improve efficiency, quality, controls, and user experience.
• Assist with financial systems enhancements, including requirements gathering, testing, validation, and user adoption.
• Support automation, reporting, analytics, and digital transformation via data analysis and process documentation.
• Participate in system testing, issue tracking, and validation of configuration changes.
• Help develop dashboards, reports, and business insights for performance monitoring.
• Research emerging technologies, AI capabilities, and automation solutions for Finance.
• Collaborate across Finance, Internal Controls, IT, and Digital Transformation to align with governance.
