Job summary

GLOBALFOUNDRIES U.S. INC. seeks a Finance Project Management & Financial Systems Analyst Intern to support the Finance Transformation team.

You will collaborate with stakeholders across Finance and technology partners to enhance processes, deliver system improvements, and drive automation initiatives that improve efficiency, controls, data quality, and user experience. The role emphasizes project planning, requirements gathering, testing, and the development of dashboards and reports to enable

Qualifications

Sophomore student pursuing a Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, or related field.
Must have at least a 3.0 GPA and be in good academic standing.
English language proficiency (written & verbal).
Ability to work at least 40 hours per week during the internship.

Responsibilities

Support Finance transformation projects with planning, tracking, documentation, status reporting, and stakeholder communications.
Analyze processes to identify improvement opportunities in Finance operations and business processes.
Document business requirements, scope definitions, process maps, use cases, and acceptance criteria.
Assess current and future state processes and suggest efficiency, quality, controls, and user experience improvements.
Assist with financial systems enhancements, including requirements gathering, testing, and user adoption activities.
Support automation, reporting, analytics, and digital transformation through data analysis and process documentation.
Participate in system testing, issue tracking, and validation of changes.
Help develop dashboards and reports to monitor performance and inform decisions.
Research emerging technologies and AI capabilities to improve Finance processes.
Collaborate with Finance, Internal Controls, IT, and Digital Transformation to ensure governance alignment.
