Job summary

Socket.dev is seeking a Sr. Director of Finance Transformation to lead the strategic roadmap and multi-year modernization of finance and accounting.

You will partner with the CFO and executives to drive automation, AI adoption, and new operating models that shift from manual to proactive business partnering. You will guide change management, design executive forums, and own the portfolio budget and resourcing for transformation initiatives, aligning with corporate strategy and delivering

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience in finance/Accounting.
• 12+ years in finance with 8–11 years in leadership and transformation.
• Experience leading finance transformation, change management, or process improvement.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management with C-suite audiences.
• Proficiency with Excel, PowerPoint and project management tools.

Responsibilities

• Design and lead the multi-year finance transformation roadmap.
• Introduce and implement technologies including AI for automation.
• Drive organization-wide change management and culture shift.
• Develop executive dashboards and report milestones to CFO.
• Partner with HR on talent and skills planning, and with IT on systems.
• Oversee budgets, resourcing, and multi-year investments for transformation.
• Support M&A integrations for finance process alignment.
• Lead cross-functional governance and executive communications.
