Job summary

New Relic is seeking a Director, Technical Program Management to join our Finance organization. You will lead the planning, execution, and delivery of large cross functional programs in support of our strategic objectives, shaping technical direction and driving engineering efficiency.

You will coach TPMs, build cross-functional teams, and partner with Directors, VPs and leaders across sales, marketing, finance, customer success, and support to launch new capabilities.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in engineering & product delivery alongside engineers.
• 8+ years of experience leading technical program management and/or engineering teams.
• Ability to bring structure to ambiguity and drive measurable outcomes.
• Strong communicator with executive presence and collaboration with leaders.
• Proven ability to assemble and lead cross-functional teams.
• Working technical proficiency; deep understanding of the SDLC and architecture.

Responsibilities

• Equip a team of technical program managers to drive OKRs by leading complex initiatives focused on efficiency and productivity.
• Manage and coach TPMs to ensure success and build bench strength.
• Act as a principal PM on challenging finance-related problems and drive trade‑offs.
• Serve as conduit between business units and home org, aligning directions.
• Build relationships with Directors, VPs, and leaders to promote execution across cross‑functional teams.
