Qualifications

• Earned doctorate in Personal Financial Planning, Finance, or Business by end of first academic year.
• Commitment to quality teaching evidenced by record of instruction and assessment.
• Ongoing scholarly activity with peer-reviewed publications aligned to experience.
• CFP certification or ability to sit for CFP Certification Examination by end of second year.
• Engagement in institutional, community, and professional endeavors.

Responsibilities

• Teach undergraduate and/or graduate courses in financial planning and finance.
• Prepare students for the CFP Certification Examination and related careers.
• Develop experiential learning opportunities connecting students with professionals and firms.
• Mentor students and support their professional development through program initiatives.
• Develop and maintain a scholarly program with collaboration opportunities.
• Engage with the financial planning profession and regional business community.
• Perform institutional and community service.
• Contribute to program development and AACSB accreditation efforts.
