Job summary

Zocdoc is seeking a Director of Finance Technology to lead the evolution of the technology and processes powering financial planning and decision making.

You will own strategy, roadmap, and continuous improvement across Strategic Finance and FP&A, partnering with Finance, IT, Data & Analytics to deliver scalable solutions, automate manual work, and enable faster, better business decisions.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of FP&A or related analytical finance roles.
• Experience owning finance technology strategy and planning systems.
• Experience leading enterprise planning implementations (Planful/Anaplan/Oracle EPM).
• Deep understanding of budgeting, forecasting, and modeling.

Responsibilities

• Own the strategy, roadmap, and evolution of Finance Technology across Strategic Finance and FP&A.
• Lead optimization of the planning tech ecosystem as the business scales.
• Partner with Finance leaders to translate needs into tech investments.
• Translate requirements into technology roadmaps with cross‑functional partners.
• Evaluate investments, automation, AI capabilities, and make recommendations.
• Identify opportunities to automate recurring planning and forecasting workflows.
• Establish governance for planning systems and financial models.
• Lead cross‑functional tech initiatives from business case to implementation.
• Continuously assess emerging tech, including generative AI, for Finance.
• Support strategic initiatives and ad hoc projects.
