Job summary

Alvarez & Marsal seeks a Finance Technology Portfolio Leader to own the SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud strategy, delivery, and run. You will partner with CFO/Finance leadership, manage global teams in the US, UK, and India, and drive a stable, scalable finance tech platform with strong governance and vendor management.

The role requires deep finance process knowledge, enterprise SAP experience, and ability to travel 10–20% to overlap with offshore teams, with direct impact on client-ready operations.

Qualifications

• 12–15+ years of experience in finance technology or ERP leadership.
• Proven track record leading enterprise SAP S/4HANA implementation and run.
• Experience governing systems integrators and managed service providers (SLA design, scope, and cost).
• Experience leading distributed teams across US, UK, and India; travel 10–20%.
• Strong CFO/MD-level stakeholder communication and governance skills.

Responsibilities

• Define and own Finance Technology strategy and roadmap with Finance leadership.
• Lead Finance Technology team across US, UK, and India; align with EAS priorities.
• Own platform cost, licensing, and vendor management with SAP and SaaS providers.
• Govern the in-house vs. partner sourcing split and maintain design authority.
• Ensure governance, security, and data standards across ERP platforms.
