Job summary

Alvarez & Marsal is seeking a Finance Portfolio Leader to drive strategy, delivery and run of the finance technology portfolio anchored by SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud. As the senior technology partner to the CFO and Finance leadership, you will align with global leaders to build a scalable, well-governed platform.

You will manage Product Owners in the US/UK and Technical Owners in India, set architectural standards, and oversee vendor relationships and cost controls.

Qualifications

• 12–15+ years in finance technology or ERP leadership.
• Proven enterprise SAP S/4HANA implementation and run experience.
• Experience across multi-entity, multi-currency, multi-jurisdiction finance processes.
• Experience governing systems integrators and managed service providers.
• Leads distributed teams across the US, UK, and India; travel 10–20%.
• Familiarity with integration platforms (iPaaS), SAP Analytics Cloud, and data warehouses.
• Strong stakeholder management and CFO-level communication; professional services background helpful.
• Bachelor’s degree; advanced degree preferred; SAP, PMP, CPA/CA desirable.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Finance Technology portfolio strategy and run SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud.
• Manage global Product Owners (US/UK) and Technical Owners (India).
• Set architecture standards and enforce design authority.
• Oversee vendor relationships, cost, licensing, and managed service governance.
• Partner with Finance Process Owners to plan releases, training, and user experience improvements.
• Govern offshore teams and ensure Salesforce/Workday integration and data quality.
