Job summary

BNSF Railway is seeking an Assistant Manager/Manager in Finance Technology to lead automation, reporting, and data solutions for Finance. The role supports modernization initiatives, migration from mainframe tech, and integration of AI-enabled tools.

Fort Worth or Topeka locations offer limited remote work. The ideal candidate will design and deliver dashboards and reports, collaborate with stakeholders, and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or minimum 3 years of professional work experience in Finance or Technology.
• Experience building applications to automate and create efficiencies in business processes.
• Experience developing SQL queries, views, and stored procedures against relational databases.

Responsibilities

• Partner with business stakeholders to understand current processes, gather requirements, and identify opportunities for automation and process improvement
• Design, develop, test, and support applications, reports, and automation solutions using technologies such as Power-BI, Alteryx, or Python
• The ability to leverage technology to gather, analyze, and present actionable information for leadership
• Apply AI-enabled tools and technologies to accelerate development, documentation, testing, analysis, and governance
• Maintain and enhance existing applications by implementing feature improvements, resolving issues, and optimizing performance
• Document solutions, processes, and technical designs for sustainability and knowledge sharing
• Collaborate with Finance and Technology teams to ensure solutions align with business objectives and standards
