Job summary

BNSF Railway is offering a Summer Intern position in the Finance Department in Topeka, KS. Interns gain hands-on experience in financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting and reporting under experienced mentors.

The program emphasizes real projects, exposure to financial systems, and potential full-time Management Trainees after graduation. Remote work可 occasional one day per week; relocation required if beyond 50 miles.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelors or Graduate degree in Accounting or Finance from an accredited university.
• Have and maintain at least a 2.75 cumulative GPA.
• Have LESS THAN three (3) years of professional work experience, excluding internships/part-time jobs during studies.

Responsibilities

• Prepare internal and external reports and perform account reconciliations.
• Conduct contract research and maintain confidential information securely.
• Assist in testing system changes and enhancements, handle ad-hoc requests.
• Build relationships with customers, employees and partners while driving continuous improvement.
