Finance & Tax Analyst (Staff Accountant)

Lauber Business Partners is recruiting a Finance & Tax Analyst in this direct hire role with our client, a full-service wealth management firm located in Waukesha County. This dynamic role will work within a variety of accounting disciplines and tax concepts, completing both individual and team projects of varying complexity.

Duties:

• Perform statistical and account analyses, including data listings, forecasting, and percentage calculations
• Prepare and coordinate materials for client meetings with guidance from senior team members
• Handle tax-related tasks: prepare federal and state individual and corporate returns, extensions, estimates, and projections
• Set up tax files, document workpapers, and prepare financial statements and cash flow projections for individuals
• Review investment-related schedules and reports, conduct research, and draft client correspondence on tax and accounting matters
• Assist with client billing and mentor junior employees & interns

Abilities:

This role requires the ability to read, analyze, and interpret business publications, professional journals, technical procedures, and government regulations. Strong reading, writing and presentation skills are required.

Education and/or Experience

Bachelor's Degree from a four-year college or university in public accounting or taxation.
