Abbott, a global healthcare leader, is seeking a Senior Talent Acquisition Specialist to join the Corporate Talent Acquisition team supporting finance recruitment for our centralized Finance Hub. You will partner with hiring managers and HR to design sourcing strategies and deliver qualified finance candidates.

You will source, assess, and present candidate slates, manage interviews and offers, and ensure a superior candidate experience.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or higher in Human Resources, Business, or related field.
5+ years of recruiting experience, with a focus on Finance roles.
Proficiency with LinkedIn Recruiter and other sourcing tools/social media.
Knowledge of employment laws and regulations.
Strong computer skills and internet proficiency.
Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize, and maintain attention to detail.
Demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.

Responsibilities

Provide full-cycle recruitment support and consultative partnership for Finance and related business functions within Abbott’s centralized Finance Hub.
Develop and execute targeted talent acquisition strategies by leveraging workforce data, talent market insights, and industry trends.
Partner closely with hiring managers and HR stakeholders to define position requirements, competency profiles, and sourcing approaches.
Proactively source, engage, and cultivate active and passive talent pipelines for finance and accounting roles across the enterprise.
Conduct candidate assessments, interviews, and talent evaluations, presenting qualified candidate slates and recommendations to hiring teams.
Facilitate interview debriefs and drive consensus among stakeholders to support timely, informed hiring decisions.
Monitor recruiting performance metrics, including time-to-fill, quality of hire, and candidate pipeline health, ensuring adherence to established processes and compliance requirements.
Develop competitive offer strategies in partnership with compensation, HR, and business leaders, and manage the offer negotiation and acceptance process.
Deliver a seamless, high-quality candidate experience from initial engagement through onboarding and transition to the business.
Build trusted relationships with hiring managers and candidates, consistently delivering exceptional customer service and talent acquisition expertise.
Maintain accurate and timely candidate, requisition, and hiring activity records within Workday and other talent acquisition systems.
Serve as a strategic talent advisor by providing market intelligence, hiring trends, and workforce insights to support business growth and talent planning initiatives.
