Job summary

Hunt Companies, Inc. in Dallas seeks an Accounting Operations and Transformation Technical Trainer responsible for designing, delivering, and maintaining training programs that help accounting and finance teams use Workday and supporting systems.

You will translate complex processes into practical learning materials, partner with SMEs, support system adoption, and assist with process standardization and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, Process Engineering, or related field.
• 4-6 years of experience developing and delivering training for enterprise systems, accounting platforms, ERP modules, or business applications.
• Background in accounting operations, shared services, financial reporting, internal controls, or audit support.
• Experience with ERP or accounting systems such as Workday, Oracle, EnterpriseOne or comparable platforms.

Responsibilities

• Develops and delivers instructor-led, virtual, and self-paced training for accounting systems, SOPs, workflow tools, and related business processes.
• Creates and maintains training materials, including user guides, job aids, process maps, quick-reference documents, presentations, simulations, and short-form videos.
• Translates accounting policies, system configuration, and operational procedures into clear, task-based learning content for varied audiences.
• Partners with subject matter experts to document end-to-end accounting workflows, system touchpoints, approval paths, and control requirements.
• Supports enhancements, upgrades, and process changes by developing testing and training plans and readiness materials.
• Conducts training needs assessments and identifies gaps in user knowledge, system adoption, process compliance, and workflow execution.
• Facilitates onboarding and refresher training for accounting, finance, and business users.
