Job summary

Simpro Software is seeking a Finance Systems professional who bridges accounting and IT to ensure billing and revenue processes align with IFRS 15 / ASC 606. You will manage Salesforce Billing, Avalara, Asperato, Stripe integrations, and maintain data integrity with Sage Intacct.

You will drive month-end close support, define system requirements for new products, and automate manual steps to improve Quote-to-Cash efficiency across US operations.

Qualifications

• Experience translating accounting rules into system configurations.
• Proven ability to manage billing/revenue processes and reconciliation.
• Familiarity with IFRS 15 / ASC 606 standards and related tooling.

Responsibilities

• Act as the primary liaison to the Salesforce IT team for technical accounting configurations.
• Partner with the Senior Finance Systems Admin to manage daily operational load.
• Own the Avalara integration within Salesforce for US and Canadian taxes; support payment flows through Asperato and Stripe.
• Own and maintain logic tables within Salesforce (GL Rules, Treatments, Finance Books) for transaction accuracy between Salesforce and Sage Intacct.
• Own the functional sub-ledger close in Salesforce Billing; run consolidation jobs and validate revenue schedules.
• Act as the primary US support contact during US business hours for billing errors and integration sync failures.
• Define billing and revenue recognition system requirements for new product launches or pricing changes.
• Drive Quote-to-Cash efficiency by automating manual workarounds.
