Job summary

Simpro Group is seeking a Finance Systems professional at the intersection of Finance, Accounting, IT and Salesforce. You will translate accounting requirements into technical configurations, owning IFRS 15 / ASC 606 compliance within Salesforce Billing, Avalara, Asperato, Stripe and Sage Intacct integrations.

You will support month-end close, define system requirements for new products and pricing, and drive Quote-to-Cash improvements by automating manual tasks.

Responsibilities

• Technical Accounting Translation: liaison to Salesforce IT for accounting configurations.
• Workload Sharing & Redundancy with Senior Finance Systems Admin to avoid single points of failure.
• Tax & Payment Integrations: manage Avalara for US/Canada taxes; support Asperato and Stripe payment flows.
• Metadata Guardianship: maintain logic tables within Salesforce (GL Rules, Treatments, Finance Books).
• Systems Integration & Month-End Execution: own sub-ledger close in Salesforce Billing; run consolidation jobs; validate revenue schedules.
• Triage Resolution (US Coverage): primary support contact during US business hours for billing errors and integration sync failures.
• Requirements Definition: define billing and revenue recognition requirements for new product launches or contract updates.
• Process Optimization: drive Quote-to-Cash efficiency by automating manual workarounds.
