Job description

Infinity Home Services is seeking a Finance Systems Manager to lead and strengthen the finance systems environment supporting our growing portfolio of brands. This role serves as the primary Finance business owner of Acumatica and related finance technologies, with responsibility for system strategy, governance, optimization, support, and scalability across the organization.

Reporting to the Director of FP&A, the Finance Systems Manager partners closely with Accounting, Shared Services, Regional Finance, IT, and brand leaders to translate business needs into effective system and process solutions. The role ensures finance systems support reliable financial data, strong internal controls, efficient business processes, and continued growth through acquisitions and greenfield launches.

This position plays a critical role in moving the organization beyond reactive system support toward a scalable finance systems operating model. The ideal candidate combines strong finance and accounting knowledge, ERP expertise, business process leadership, and hands‑on problem solving, with a focus on root‑cause resolution, standardization, automation, user adoption, and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities
Finance Systems Ownership & Strategy
  • Serve as the primary Finance business owner and subject matter expert for Acumatica and the broader finance systems environment.
  • Develop and maintain the Finance systems roadmap in partnership with Finance leadership, IT, and key business stakeholders.
  • Evaluate and manage prioritization of Finance systems initiatives, enhancements, and support needs based on business impact, risk, and organizational priorities.
  • Establish governance around system configuration, enhancements, integrations, access, testing, documentation, and change management.
  • Identify opportunities to better leverage existing technology, automation, and system capabilities as the organization grows.
  • Manage relationships with external ERP consultants, implementation partners, and finance technology vendors.
  • Maintain oversight of Acumatica configuration, functionality, integrations, upgrades, releases, and overall system performance.
  • Monitor critical Finance system processes and integrations and proactively address exceptions or failures.
  • Lead testing and validation of system changes and enhancements prior to deployment.
  • Maintain appropriate system controls, security roles, access governance, and system documentation in partnership with IT and Finance.
  • Develop and maintain appropriate system documentation, backup coverage, escalation procedures, and business continuity practices to ensure reliable ongoing support.
  • Coordinate troubleshooting of complex system issues and elevate technical matters to external partners when appropriate.
Support, Training & Adoption
  • Establish and maintain a scalable Finance systems support model, including a network of Finance and business Acumatica SMEs to provide first‑line support for routine business process and system questions.
  • Provide escalation support for complex issues while ensuring recurring questions are addressed through training, process changes, or system improvements.
  • Develop and maintain SOPs, training materials, process documentation, and system knowledge resources.
  • Lead training for new users, new functionality, process changes, acquisitions, and greenfield launches.
Acquisitions & Greenfield Growth
  • Assess target companies' finance systems and data during diligence, and develop pre‑close integration plans.
  • Support acquisitions and greenfield launches by leading the setup, integration, and deployment of Acumatica and related Finance systems, in partnership with Finance, IT, and brand support teams.
  • Lead Acumatica setup, configuration, data migration, testing, cutover, and user readiness associated with new businesses and locations.
  • Develop repeatable Finance systems implementation standards, templates, and processes to support the company’s acquisition and organic growth strategy.
Integrations, Controls & Reporting
  • Oversee Finance‑related integrations between Acumatica and connected platforms, partnering with IT and external vendors on monitoring, exception management, ownership, and escalation protocols.
  • Support Finance technology solutions including payment platforms, banking integrations, expense and AP tools, operational system interfaces, and reporting solutions.
  • Support the integrity and reliability of financial and operational data flowing through Finance systems and maintain clear documentation of system interfaces and dependencies.
  • Partner with Accounting and auditors to maintain appropriate system controls, access reviews, documentation, and audit support.
  • Support the development and optimization of Acumatica reporting, generic inquiries, dashboards, and other Finance reporting capabilities.
Business Process & Continuous Improvement
  • Partner with Finance and business teams to design, standardize, and continuously improve end‑to‑end processes supported by Finance systems.
  • Identify recurring system and process issues, determine root causes, and develop sustainable solutions rather than relying on manual workarounds.
  • Recommend and implement improvements that enhance efficiency, scalability, accuracy, controls, and the user experience.
  • Drive standardized processes and system utilization across the organization while balancing legitimate brand and business‑unit operating requirements.
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Systems, Business, or a related field preferred; equivalent relevant experience will also be considered
  • 7+ years of progressive experience across finance systems, ERP administration and implementation, accounting, finance operations, or related roles
  • Strong understanding of accounting and end‑to‑end Finance processes, including GL, AP, AR, cash management, month‑end close, and financial reporting
  • Demonstrated experience owning, administering, or supporting a modern ERP environment; direct Acumatica experience highly preferred.
  • Experience with ERP implementations, system conversions, business integrations, or significant Finance systems transformation initiatives
  • Working knowledge of system integrations, APIs, data flows, access and security, testing, and change management
  • Experience supporting a multi‑entity, multi‑location, multi‑brand, or acquisitive organization strongly preferred
  • Strong project management, cross‑functional leadership, communication, and collaboration skills
  • Comfortable operating as both a strategic systems leader and a hands‑on problem solver in a fast‑paced, rapidly growing organization
  • Demonstrated comfort using AI tools to improve productivity, documentation and problem solving
  • Experience with Ramp and Zoho CRM, including their ERP integrations a plus
  • Construction industry experience a plus
  • Opportunities for professional growth and development tied to your personal interests
  • A transparent, supportive, and collaborative work environment
  • The chance to make a positive impact on our communities and the environment
  • Competitive: Health, dental, and vision coverage; PTO; Paid Holidays; Life Insurance; 401k with match
