Job summary

Talisman Renewable Energy is seeking a Finance Systems Administrator to own corporate finance platforms used by accounting, treasury, procurement, HR and legal teams. You will administer Planful, manage master data and support monthly close, including data loads for consolidation and budgeting.

We value independent workers with strong Excel and Power BI skills, plus experience with APIs and data mapping to drive improvements within a private-equity backed environment.

Qualifications

• At least five years administering corporate or finance systems.
• Hands-on Planful administration is an advantage; experience with planning, consolidation or ERP platforms is relevant.
• Sufficient accounting knowledge to work with accountants on close and consolidation.
• Ability to work without close supervision and drive improvements independently.
• Experience with integrations and data mapping, including APIs and middleware.
• Strong Excel skills and familiarity with Power BI.
• Experience in private-equity or institutionally backed businesses is useful.
• Patient, service-oriented attitude to support teams with long-tenure.

Responsibilities

• Day-to-day administration of corporate finance systems, including configuration, user access, provisioning, and health checks.
• Ownership of master data across platforms, including legal entities, chart of accounts, vendors and reporting hierarchies.
• Support to accounting during monthly close, including data loads into consolidation, budgeting and planning tools.
• Complete Planful implementation and ongoing administration of the platform.
• Root cause analysis on integration failures across source and destination systems.
• Vendor management, including backlogs, SLAs, and release communications.
• Support ERP selection and implementation, focusing on interfacing with the new core.
• Recommend process improvements, including Power BI reporting, automation and AI applications.
• End-user support with guides and training materials to build self-sufficiency.
