Job summary

Equity LifeStyle Properties in Chicago, IL is seeking a Senior Financial Systems Analyst to serve as the functional owner for Bottomline Payables and related financial systems. This hands-on role requires configuring workflows, managing integrations, and enabling end users to ensure compliant, scalable financial processes.

You will partner with Finance, Operations, Audit, and IT, own testing and releases, and support reporting and controls to strengthen internal governance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or Information Systems.
• 1–4 years of experience in financial systems administration and ERP/AP support.
• Experience with Bottomline or other accounts payable systems.
• Strong understanding of procure-to-pay processes and internal controls.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Demonstrated ability to configure workflows, troubleshoot system issues, and translate business needs into system solutions.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary administrator and SME for Bottomline Payables and related financial systems.
• Design and optimize end-to-end procure-to-pay workflows.
• Manage and support third-party integrations between Bottomline and other systems.
• Lead evaluation, testing, and implementation of system enhancements and upgrades.
• Provide tier-2 system support and end-user training.
• Develop and maintain system reports and ensure internal controls.
• Create and maintain system documentation and governance.
