Job summary

The City of Minneapolis seeks a skilled IT professional to bridge department operations and technology, providing functional support for ERP systems (PeopleSoft/Workday) and driving process improvements in financial and procurement areas. You will analyze business needs, configure systems, and develop user training materials.

Responsibilities include advising on best practices, leading analyses, and supporting enterprise-wide technology initiatives while ensuring efficient, compliant operations

Qualifications

• Minimum education of a Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
• An understanding of governmental financial and business processes is preferred.
• Experience with enterprise-wide information systems is required.
• Knowledge of ERP systems such as PeopleSoft or Workday is highly desired.
• Ability to analyze business processes and recommend improvements.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a functional support and configuration expert for ERP systems (PeopleSoft/Workday).
• Develop, implement, and maintain processes to provide ongoing service and support to users.
• Advise on configuration, best practices, and strategic system decisions.
• Supervise or participate in business application analysis or systems support work.
• Create and maintain training materials, manuals, and reports for users.
