Job summary

Raymond James seeks a Technology Director for Back Office Financial Systems to lead Finance ERP/EPM platforms, including G/L, A/P, RMB, and Billing. You will partner with Finance leadership to drive modernization, AI-enabled automation, and data-driven decision making in a hybrid work model in the Saint Petersburg region.

You will guide multi-year transformation programs, ensure governance and security, and mentor a high-performing team across internal and external partners.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Finance/Accounting.
• 10+ years of progressive experience in Financial Systems, ERP/EPM leadership, or enterprise technology roles.
• Strong hands-on and leadership experience moving to and supporting cloud EPM and ERP platforms.
• Proven ability to act as a trusted advisor to senior Finance and business leaders.
• Strong vendor management and systems integrator leadership experience.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a strategic technology partner to Finance leadership, enabling outcomes through modern financial systems.
• Own end-to-end lifecycle management for General Ledger, Accounts Payables, Revenue Management, and Billing.
• Oversee large, multi-year finance transformation programs; drive process standardization.
• Champion AI and intelligent automation to streamline Finance and IT processes.
• Build and lead high-performing financial systems teams; manage internal and external partners.
• Manage vendor relationships, contracts, and cost optimization.
• Ensure controls, security, and compliance; drive KPI-driven service improvements.
