Job summary

Kforce is seeking an Accountant & System Analyst in Secaucus, NJ to support day-to-day accounting, month-end close, and financial reporting across multiple entities. This role combines traditional accounting with financial systems administration, focusing on Sage Intacct and Emburse Chrome River.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of accounting experience, strong U.S. GAAP knowledge, and ERP system expertise, including intercompany consolidations and advanced Excel skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience.
• Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and month-end close processes.
• Hands-on experience with Sage Intacct and ERP systems.
• Experience with intercompany accounting and multi-entity consolidations.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly financial statements for multiple entities.
• Support month-end and year-end close with journal entries and reconciliations.
• Reconcile balance sheet and income statement accounts and analyze variances.
• Maintain general ledger integrity and Sage Intacct COA.
• Coordinate accounts payable and vendor disbursements.
• Assist with audits by providing schedules and documentation.
• Identify process improvements and automation opportunities.
