Job summary

NYK Group Americas Inc. in Secaucus, NJ seeks an experienced Accountant to manage daily accounting operations and support month-end close.

You will provide Sage Intacct and Emburse Chrome River system support across multiple entities and drive process improvements. The role requires four days on-site per week, with a focus on accurate financial reporting, internal controls, and cross-functional collaboration with teams and external auditors.

Qualifications

• BS/BA in Accounting or Finance required.
• 5-10 years of accounting experience with U.S. GAAP.
• Extensive Sage Intacct experience across GL, AP, AR in multi-entity environment.
• Strong communication and cross-department collaboration.
• Experience in transportation or logistics is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly financial statements using Sage Intacct for multiple entities.
• Manage month-end close, reconciliations, and financial statement prep.
• Ensure internal controls, audit readiness, and compliance.
• Prepare journal entries and maintain general ledger integrity in Sage Intacct.
• Handle intercompany accounting across entities in Sage Intacct.
• Process weekly A/P and daily A/R cash applications; review variances.
• Prepare audit-support docs for external auditors.
• Support system enhancements and reporting in Sage Intacct and Chrome River.
