Job summary

Kforce Inc. in New York City is seeking Corporate Accountants to lead month-end and year-end close, ensure reconciliations, and support internal controls.

You will perform detailed account reconciliations, prepare variance analyses and management reports, assist with ERP data integration and go-live, and coordinate with external auditors.

A CPA or parts passed is preferred; 2+ years of accounting experience and NetSuite/Advanced Excel skills are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting required.
• CPA or parts passed preferred.
• 2+ years of audit or accounting experience.
• Experience with management reporting and multi-entity reconciliations.
• Experience with NetSuite and advanced Excel.

Responsibilities

• Lead month-end and year-end close process, ensuring timely reconciliations of all accounts.
• Perform detailed account reconciliations, including cash, accruals, and multiple bank accounts.
• Prepare variance analysis, and management reports.
• Investigate and resolve discrepancies in records.
• Assist with an ERP software data integration and go live process.
• Work with internal teams to ensure financial controls and compliance.
• Assist with audit preparation and provide support to external auditors.
