The Supervisor - Finance leads accounting staff, ensures GAAP and Sarbanes‑Oxley compliance, maintains the five‑year cash forecast, and supports monthly and quarterly reporting and debt disclosures. Proficiency with Bloomberg and other financial tools is important.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field.
• Strong finance and accounting background with GAAP knowledge.
• Experience leading accounting staff and staff development.
• Experience with GAAP, Sarbanes‑Oxley compliance.
• Experience with financial reporting and audits.

Responsibilities

• Supervise, coordinate, and review the daily work activities of accounting staff engaged in preparing journal entries, reconciliations, financial statements, and related reports.
• Prepare, examine, and analyze accounting records and financial reports to ensure accuracy, completeness, and GAAP compliance (GAAP, SOX, and company policies).
• Support month-end and year-end close processes and improve accounting efficiency.
• Assist in monitoring and maintaining accounting and financial reporting systems; recommend process improvements and system enhancements.
• Interpret and apply accounting standards; provide guidance to staff and internal stakeholders.
• Compile, analyze, and interpret financial information for management decision-making.
• Coordinate with internal and external auditors and provide requested documentation.
• Participate in special projects, system implementations, and process improvement initiatives.
• Train, coach, and mentor accounting staff; assist with performance feedback and skill development.
