Job summary

ONEOK, Inc. is seeking a Gas Plant Accounting Supervisor in Dallas, TX to oversee plant settlement accounting for natural gas gathering and processing contracts.

You will supervise staff, review variances, and support monthly closing, ensuring GAAP compliance and strong internal controls. The role requires deep knowledge of midstream accounting concepts, contract interpretation, and proficiency with Waterfield or TIPS.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of GAAP, Sarbanes-Oxley and internal controls.
• Ability to interpret and apply accounting standards and policies.
• Experience leading and coaching accounting staff.
• Experience with accounting systems and reporting tools.

Responsibilities

• Supervise, coordinate, and review daily accounting staff activities (journal entries, reconciliations, reports).
• Prepare and analyze accounting records and financial reports for GAAP compliance.
• Support month-end and year-end close activities and close processes.
• Assist in monitoring and maintaining accounting systems and implementing process improvements.
• Interpret and apply accounting standards; provide guidance to staff and stakeholders.
• Coordinate with internal/external auditors and provide documentation as needed.
• Participate in special projects, system implementations, and process improvements.
• Train, coach, and develop accounting personnel.
