Concordia Plan Services in St. Louis, MO is seeking a Finance Supervisor to lead the Accounting Specialists responsible for payroll, accounts payable, and accounts receivable.

You will coordinate payroll processing, support reconciliations, and ensure internal controls across payroll and financial data. The role collaborates with Finance leadership, HR, auditors, and vendors to improve reporting accuracy, drive process improvements, and support budgeting, month-end close, and financial analysis

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting/finance or related field.
• 5 years in accounting, payroll, budgeting, auditing, or related financial operations.
• 2 years of supervisory experience or experience coaching and training team members preferred.
• Working knowledge of GAAP and payroll regulations is required.

Responsibilities

• Supervise Accounting Specialists for payroll, AP, and AR.
• Coordinate payroll processing and related reconciliations.
• Assist month-end close including journal entries and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Prepare and analyze financial statements, budgets, and variance analyses.
• Support audits and regulatory reporting with documentation and schedules.
• Develop and implement accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls.
