Emerson's Branson Ultrasonic business in Novi, MI is seeking a Finance Supervisor to lead budgeting, forecasting, long-range planning, and financial reporting for Branson Americas. The role collaborates with the GFS pillars to ensure accurate results and strong internal controls.

Requirements include 3+ years of accounting/finance experience, solid US GAAP knowledge, and advanced Excel/PowerPoint skills; travel to Mexico or Costa Rica is minimal. A CPA or MBA is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting or related field.
• 3+ years of relevant accounting/finance experience.
• Solid understanding of U.S. GAAP, internal controls, and financial reporting requirements.
• Outstanding organization skills and attention to detail with high standards for quality and accuracy.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to synthesize complex information for management.
• Collaborative demeanor with ability to partner across functions.
• Expertise with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
• Minimal travel to Mexico or Costa Rica may be required.
• Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Manages budgeting, forecasts, and long-range planning for Branson Americas.
• Supports month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing processes and prepares schedules for management reviews.
• Performs analyses of deviations from budget/forecast and presents findings to leadership.
• Analyzes trends in revenue, cost of sales, Opex, and working capital.
• Maintains internal controls over financial reporting and ensures accuracy of results.
• Collaborates with Global Financial Services pillars to align on financial objectives.
